Configure Delivery Settings

Timeout specifies the time to be used for making valid connections. If your connection is slow, it is recommended that you set the maximum time 3 minutes.

Threads field contains a number of threads the program will simultaneously perform. Minimum - 1 thread, maximum - 200 threads. If you have a Dial-Up connection to the Internet, you should enter no more than 50 threads. If you have a fast connection (DSL/Cable, T-1), you are allowed to set the maximum value of active tasks and increase the speed of sending.

Domain name for "HELO" - enter your IP address or your real domain. If the domain is not specified, the program will try to determine your domain by itself. The use of somebody else's domain or "any word" alias is not recommended - servers with high levels of security may refuse to work with you.

Other options are not required and may be checked if your mailing campaign has not successfully gone for some reasons.

Configure DNS Settings

Click DNS to bring up the appropriate window and fill in the required fields.

Primary DNS can be specified as a domain name or IP-address. It is highly recommended to use the DNS settings of your ISP. If you are a dial-up user, just copy the detected 'Windows DNS settings' to the Primary and Secondary DNS boxes.

Secondary DNS is not necessary but helpful. Program will try to use Secondary DNS if for some reason primary DNS fails to return valid responds to your DNS query.

Windows DNS Settings - the program will try to automatically determine your DNS settings when DNS Settings window is displayed. Please note: if you are a Dial-Up user, it is necessary that first you establish the Dial-Up connection for the EasyMail application to determine the DNS addresses. Otherwise, the program will find no DNS addresses in your current configuration of Windows.
